We have worked very hard over the last decade with the help of our children and Dan's parents to build an oasis in the mountains to share with our friends and family.
We have multiple different accommodations to offer our guests including:
- Rooms in our home, the Main House
- Rooms in our Bunk House
- RV spots in our Campground
Windflower Mountain Retreat
Accommodations
Main House
The Main House was constructed in 2010-2015. We built it ourselves with the help of our children and Dan's parents.
We have multiple bedrooms available, hot showers, and all the creature comforts you might expect from a home away from home. We use solar as our main source of electricity and have an on-site green house!
We have an area where we can set up a dance floor and we also have a patio which can be converted to an outdoor gathering and gaming spot, out door movie theater, or a large dining area for events.
Bunk House
The Bunk House was constructed in 2022 and was first used for our big family reunion.
It has 4 bedrooms and can hold up to 14 people. There is running water for washing your hands as well as a toilet for those emergency middle of the night necessities!
The Bunk House is located next to the Main House where you can shower, cook, and anything else you might need while still having your own private place to sleep and relax.
Campground
Our Campground was constructed in 2021. It has 6 campsites for campers up to 40'. There is electric and water hookups available at each campsite.
The campground is a short drive or walk away down the mountain from the Main House, providing plenty of peace and quiet.
Note: Those with mobility concerns may find the walk up the house difficult and should plan to drive back and forth as necessary.
